Security systems
Thanks to the technological development and know-how of our security system partners, we have adopted a system with video intelligence capable of recognising possible intrusions as early as 60 metres away.
Sprinkler System REI 180
Cambiago will be one of the few facilities in the area that adopts such a high fire resistance fire protection system, usually logistics warehouses use REI 120.
Concrete Plant
In order to have a building of maximum safety for our customers, we decided to adopt an entirely concrete structure, in contrast with today’s logistics, adopting a much more economical solution, i.e. the first two metres of the structure in height in concrete and the remaining part in sandwich panel.
BREEAM standard for eco- sustainable construction materials
In order to ensure sustainability, a key issue for us, we have decided to certify the use of materials from environmentally sustainable sources.

Elevating Our New Investments
Gidd is evolving to improve services and innovate. The Cambiago warehouse uses cantilever and trilateral shelving for oversized and standard materials. The second phase will include trilateral shelving, intensive storage shelving with a WMS, and a vertical warehouse for small to medium items with its own WMS.

During the last 4 years GIDD has increased its revenues by 15% every year.
We have grown our vehicle fleet with new 6 trucks reaching now a total of 40.
We are increasing our staff with 3 new hirings for customer care, 8 for warehouse and 3 new warehouse managers. At the moment Gidd has 50 employee and 70 coworkers.
We are investing in new logistic spaces.

BUILDING OUR FUTURE
A strategic position
We decided to choose our new warehouses between strategic point. Usually exactly in the middle of the A4 highway, that links all the north of Italy. A4 is the most important route for the Italian economy, where the majority of the logistc players distribute the goods in Italy.
The new Cambiago warehouse is also located in a central position for the capillary European distribution.
